We did sparklers off the front porch for New Year's, watched some of the bowl games (don't remember now which one) and then watched some guy jump a football field on his motorcycle (anti-climatic). The sparklers proved more dangerous. Lucy's ear got "sparked" as did Simon's sleeve (we found the hole the next day). Happy New Year! Let us hear your resolutions.

Happy New Year!
We did sparklers off the front porch for New Year's, watched some of the bowl games (don't remember now which one) and then watched some guy jump a football field on his motorcycle (anti-climatic). Be careful with those sparklers! That's how my Mr. Cannon lost most of his hearing. A sparkler went up his nose when he was playing an ruined his sense of smell and he lost a large percentage of his hearing. I haven't wanted to touch a sparkler since he shared that with me, but I still think they're fun and pretty. I think I like the pink and green ones that smoke better though.
