attack of the caterpillars


Does anyone know why all these crazy caterpillars have descended on our apartment and taken over our outside area?

    Our neighbors have a pine tree, an avocado tree, and a mango tree behind their house... all these trees "branch" over into our outside area. No palm trees near here that I know of... why?
